CUAS simulator licensing and training solutions

Realistic training. Operational readiness. Mission confidence.

Constellation Airspace Group, LLC provides Promachos, a vendor-neutral CUAS operational readiness simulator for public safety agencies, federal and defense organizations, airports, emergency management, correctional facilities and critical-infrastructure operators. Flexible licensing supports agency-wide training, instructor-led exercises and multiagency operational coordination.

Choose your training solution

Simulation capabilities

What the simulator models.

Vendor-neutral sensor simulation

Configurable simulations of Remote ID, passive RF, direction finding, radar, EO/IR, acoustic detection and multisensor fusion, each with its own range, mounting height and line of sight against real buildings.

Simulated crewed aircraft

Aircraft activity around airports, critical infrastructure and major events, all fully simulated: approaches, departures, helicopters, emergency response aviation and drone-to-aircraft conflicts, with no real-world aircraft surveillance feed.

Scenario-based operational training

Practice detection, identification, assessment, notification, coordination and incident response in controlled, repeatable exercises.

Instructor-controlled exercises

Instructors manage scenario progression, add drones, change simulated weather and take sensors offline mid-exercise to test the team.

After-action review

Exercise timelines, detection and response times, every decision drone by drone, and the gaps to work on next.

Simulated mitigation decisions

Mitigation choices are simulated decisions only. Nothing transmits, and training implies no authority to mitigate drones.

Custom training and professional services

Shaped around your mission.

Custom venue configuration

Training environments that represent your airport, facility, event venue or operational area.

GIT and ASOC instructor-led training

Classroom instruction, operational exercises and simulator-based training combined. See the GIT + ASOC course.

Multiagency exercises

Coordinated training with law enforcement, airport operations, emergency management and other authorized stakeholders.

Private and offline deployment

Talk with us about local-server and private-network options for agencies with specialized security or operational requirements.

Historical incident reconstruction

Recreating appropriately authorized past incidents for training and operational analysis.

Evaluated exercises

Scenarios run against your own procedures, ending in a written after-action report. See the readiness program.

Simulation capabilities are intended for training and exercise purposes. Sensor performance is modeled and does not represent guaranteed performance of commercial equipment. Simulator training does not confer federal certification or CUAS mitigation authority.

FAQ

Questions we hear.

How does licensing work?

Licensing is organization-based, with unlimited registered personnel. Each license includes a defined number of concurrent training participants.

Do instructors count toward the concurrent trainee limit?

No. Instructor and evaluator accounts are managed separately from trainee capacity.

Does the simulator require real drone or aircraft data?

No. Training scenarios use simulated drone and crewed aircraft activity, so exercises can be repeated and evaluated consistently. No real-world aircraft surveillance feed is used.

Can we configure our own airport or facility?

Yes. Custom venue configurations are available based on your organization's requirements.

Can multiple agencies take part in the same exercise?

Yes. Trainees from different agencies can join one instructor-led exercise, each in their own seat. Larger licenses add more concurrent participants and venues for coordinated multiagency training.

Can we use FEMA CUAS grant funds?

Software licenses and subscriptions are not allowable costs under the FEMA CUAS Grant Program. For grant-funded agencies, simulator practice is delivered inside allowable training and exercise services, with no separate license fee. These licenses are for direct purchases.

Does the simulator represent specific sensor manufacturers?

No. Promachos uses vendor-neutral sensor models with configurable training characteristics.

When is Promachos available?

January 2027. Demos are running now.
